The An Saol Foundation, a Section 39 registered charity, is dedicated to supporting individuals with a severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI), offering person-centred rehabilitation and habilitation services in a day centre setting. Our mission is to empower our clients to achieve their fullest potential through specialised, compassionate care.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the clinical and operational delivery of our rehabilitation programmes, ensuring excellence in care, service coordination, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand individual needs and capabilities, supported by our multi-disciplinary team and lead by our clients’ requirements.
- Develop and set personalised, meaningful client goals in collaboration with clients, families, and the care team.
- Design and implement tailored rehabilitation and habilitation programmes to support client progress.
- Monitor and maintain clients’ overall health and well-being, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Oversee hygiene protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.
- Coordinate with external clinical services and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and communication.
Operational Responsibilities
- Develop and manage timetables for client programmes and staff schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our state-of-the-art rehabilitation and habilitation equipment.
- Optimise the use of physical spaces for client activities and therapy sessions.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in a clinical discipline, e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical social work, or a related field (essential). You must be legally entitled to live and work in Ireland.
- Ideally five years of experience in rehabilitation, habilitation, or disability services.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing client-centred care and habilitation plans.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and infection control practices.
- Experience managing schedules, equipment, and compliance in a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating initiative, drive, creativity, and innovation.
