Your Role
As our Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments to determine each client’s goals and needs.
- Develop individualised intervention plans to enhance clients’ independence and quality of life.
- Implement creative and evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to clients with cognitive, perceptual, and physical challenges.
- Provide hands-on mentorship and clinical supervision to junior therapists and therapy assistants.
- Lead in-service training programs and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes.
- Play a key role in developing service strategies and expanding our rehabilitation programmes.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and CORU registration or S91 CORU Application in process. You must be legally entitled to live and work in Ireland.
- Experience: Ideally 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in neuro-rehabilitation or neurological care.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in supervision, training, or team leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of neurophysiology and a wide range of rehabilitation techniques.
- Collaboration Skills: Exceptional communication and organisational abilities with a client-centred approach,demonstrating initiative, drive, creativity, and innovation.
- Desirable: Experience across different healthcare systems and familiarity with AAC tools.
