Your Role

As a Learning Support Specialist, you will:

Provide one-on-one and group support to individuals with sABI, assisting them in their educational and developmental activities.
Adapt educational materials to suit the cognitive and physical abilities of each client.
Support clients with communication challenges, working closely with speech and language therapists to implement AAC tools.
Encourage independence and participation in learning and rehabilitation activities.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the educational and therapeutic teams.
Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Assist with general care and safety needs as part of a holistic approach to support.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: Relevant experience in a teaching, educational, or support setting. A background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage. You must be legally entitled to live and work in Ireland.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, compassionate approach, demonstrating initiative, drive, creativity, and innovation.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, building trust and mutual support.
Mindset: A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting diverse needs.
