What’s the role/service?
We are looking for a Caretaker to join our service in Finglas West Family Resource Centre.
What will my day to day look like?
In this role, you will be providing support to the FRC team and the building itself. You will be responsible for the following:
- Opening and closing the FRC building at agreed times, allowing external organisations and community groups that have been agreed by the Project Coordinator to rent rooms at the FRC building.
- Ensuring that all external agencies respect the premises and comply with room booking guidelines when renting rooms at the FRC.
- Reporting any health & safety and / or project maintenance issues to the line manager.
- Ensuring the premises are maintained and safe and carrying out regular maintenance to ensure the up keep of the project premises.

- Flexibility and adaptability in terms of tasks and time to facilitate the needs of our service.
Hours of Work
The hours are 25 hours per week and will be worked Monday – Thursday.
- Monday: 2 – 9pm
- Tuesday: 3 – 9pm
- Wednesday: 3 – 9pm
- Thursday: 3 – 9pm
Flexibility is required within the role and based on the need of the project, at times weekend work may be required.
