The Crann Centre based in Ovens, Ballincollig is a registered charity providing lifelong support for people of all ages living with neuro-physical disabilities, and their families.

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for anyone coming into the organisation, you will be the welcoming face providing a warm and professional environment. It is important that all clients and visitors feel the warmth and support that embodies everything we do at Crann.

This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Key duties include:

Opening of centre, ensuring we are ready for service
Greeting clients and visitors, and providing refreshments
Taking calls and relaying messages
Marking attendance and sign in on our CRM
Taking payments and issuing receipts where appropriate
Preparing meeting rooms for events/ visitors/ external bookings
General office duties such as ordering, query resolution, mail management, workplace support etc
Data Entry and Administrative Support
Some amount of building maintenance and contractor liaison
Responsible for centre lock up at close of business

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Prior experience in a professional setting is desirable
Excellent communication skills (face to face, phone, email)
Great interpersonal skills when working within a team
Well-mannered and personable
Focused on client/ visitor experience
Extremely well organised, with a strong ability to multi-task
Able to work well under pressure
Able to support multiple people when in a busy reception area
High attention to detail
Skilled in Microsoft suite: Microsoft Planner, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Experience working with CRM system desirable
